Error cannot save a new network in Metamask Wallet
I was enthusiastic about using the Mnemonic statement to create a custom RPC network in metamas, but unfortunately it didn’t work as expected. This happened:
Step 1: Creating Custom RPC Network
Created a customized RPC network with a particular name and URL address, I followed these steps:
- I brought my memory of metamas.
- I chose “Create RPC” from the top right corner of the screen.
- I was asked to select the name for the network. In “ganache”.
- I gave
http: // Localhost: 9545
URL as defined in your message.
Step 2: Saving and returning
However, by clicking “Create a network”, Metamask did not save the changes. This suggests that there was a problem with recording a new network.
Step 3: Examination of potential causes
A few possible reasons for this problem:
* Overlapping the network name : If two or more networks have a similar name, it may cause problems to store and charge custom RPC networks.
* RPC URL Conflicts : If Metamask is trying to create a new network that uses the same http: // Localhost: 9545
URL as existing, it can lead to problems.
Step 4: Solving the problem
To solve this problem, I checked Metamask settings and confirmed that there were no network names. In addition, I checked the RPC-URL to ensure that it was not in conflict with other networks.
Step 5: Restoring Changes (if applicable)
In some cases, you may need to return changes to the Metamask wallet or network settings. To do this:
- Go to Metamask settings.
- Click “wallet” and then “network”.
- If you find a duplicate, click the three points next to the network name and select “Delete Network”.
By following these stages and any causes of failure, you should be able to solve the problem with the custom RPC network by saving metamask.

Metamask: The new network cannot be stored in your wallet
If you have difficulty saving new networks in metamask, here are some possible problems to check:
* Network name overlap : Double check that two networks do not have the same name.
* RPC -url -url Conflicts : Make sure that the RPC -URL is not in conflict with existing networks or wallets.
By following these steps and dealing with possible causes, you should be able to solve the problem and save the custom RPC network in the metamas of metamas.
